Bring your reputation from another platform

If you have reviews or completed sits on another house sitting platform, you might not want to start from zero.

Tryypa can help you bring over house sitting reviews from other platforms, so your profile reflects your experience from day one.

What we can (and cannot) transfer

We can usually add:

  • The number of reviews shown on your public profile
  • A short note that you have experience on another platform
  • (If available) your total completed sits

We cannot add:

  • Private references
  • Reviews that are not related to house sitting (for example, Airbnb)
  • Personal details from other members (for privacy)

Before you start

  • Create your Tryypa account and complete your profile.
  • Make sure your reviews are visible on your public profile on the other platform.
  • Keep your other account active until the transfer is finished.

How to request a reputation transfer

  1. Copy the link to your public profile on the other platform.
  2. In Tryypa, open Help & Support.
  3. Select Bring my reputation from another platform.
  4. Fill out the form with informations about:
    • The platform name (e.g., TrustedHousesitters)
    • Your public profile URL
    • Number of reviews, testimonials, or endorsements
    • Length of membership (in years)
    • Member type
  5. We will review your request and email you when the update is complete.

Common issues

  • Your profile link is not public: we cannot verify reviews that require login.
  • Your link is not a profile page: make sure you share the direct URL to your sitter profile.
  • Reviews are not for house sitting: we will not add them.

Do you copy the full text of my reviews?

Not always. We focus on verified counts and proof of experience, and we avoid copying personal details.

How long does it take?

Timelines can vary because the process is manual. We will update you by email once your request has been reviewed.

Can I transfer reputation as a pet parent too?

If you have house sitting-related reviews as a pet parent and they are publicly visible, we will add them too.
