Confirming a sit

A sit is confirmed when both the pet parent and the sitter accept the same booking request. Once confirmed, the sit dates are locked in and both sides can message each other in the app.

How to confirm a sit

  1. Open your messages and select the conversation for the sit.
  2. Review the details:
    • Dates
    • Pets and home details
    • House rules and expectations
  3. Choose Confirm (or Accept request).
  4. Wait for the other person to confirm.

What happens after confirmation

  • The sit status changes to Confirmed.
  • Both sides receive a notification.
  • You can keep chatting to align on arrival time, keys, and emergency contacts.
  • We reccomend opening a WhatsApp group for enhanced communication and notification.

If you do not see the Confirm button

  • The sit may already be confirmed.
  • The request may be expired or canceled.
