What is email verification?
Confirms you control the email you used to sign up. You’ll receive a link or one-time code. You can access and confirm it on the Settings page.
What is phone verification?
Confirms you control your phone number. Enter the SMS or voice code before the timer expires. If it expires, request a new code. You can access and confirm it on the Settings page.
What is government ID verification?
Confirms your legal identity using a valid government document such as a passport, national ID card, or driver’s license.

How do I verify my email?
- Go to Settings → Email verification
- Tap “Send link” or “Send code”
- Click the link or paste the 6-digit code
How do I verify my phone number?
- Go to Settings → Phone verification
- Enter your number and pick SMS or voice call
- Enter the time-sensitive code
How do I complete ID verification?
You complete ID verification as part of creating your account, payment, and onboarding.

Troubleshooting
- Didn’t receive a code? Check spam, confirm your email or number, wait 60 seconds, then resend. For SMS, toggle airplane mode off and on.
- Code expired? Request a new one and complete within the timer.
- ID failed? Re-scan in brighter light, clean your camera lens, and ensure the whole document is visible. Check that your name and birthdate match your profile.
- Selfie mismatch? Remove hats and glasses, face the camera directly, and keep a neutral expression.

Can I use Tryypa if I don't verify my ID?
You can browse and explore, but to list your home or apply as a sitter you must complete email, phone, and ID verification. This ensures trust and safety across the community.
How long does ID verification take?
Most ID verifications are instant, but some may take up to 24 hours if manual review is needed. You'll receive a notification once it's complete.
What if name on my ID is different from my profile name?
Your profile name must match your legal name on your government ID. Update your profile name in Settings before submitting your ID for verification.
Can I verify with a temporary or expired ID?
No, your government ID must be valid and unexpired. If your document is expiring soon, you may be asked to re-verify with a new one.
Is my personal data safe?
Yes. All verification data is encrypted and used only to confirm your identity. Only your badge status is shown publicly - never your ID details or personal documents.
Can I delete my verification data?
Your verification data is tied to your account and cannot be deleted separately. If you wish to delete your account, all your data, including verification information, will be permanently removed. You can do this from the Settings page.
What happens if my ID verification fails?
You'll receive an email explaining why verification failed. Common fixes include using better lighting, cleaning your camera lens, ensuring the full document is visible, and matching your profile name to your ID. You can resubmit as many times as needed. Do I need to verify again if I change my phone number or email?
Yes. If you update your contact details, you'll need to verify the new email or phone number to maintain your verified status. Start the process from the Settings page.
Will other members see my verification badges?
Yes. Your verification badges (Email Verified, Phone Verified, ID Verified) appear on your profile, listings, applications, and messages so other members can make informed decisions.
What if verification isn't available in my country?
Some verification types, like background checks, depend on local regulations and data availability. If a verification isn't supported in your region, you'll see "Not available in your location."
